Information used for your rental
The booking form collects your name, email address, telephone number and driver information requested on the form, such as date of birth and nationality. Your booking also records the vehicle, collection and return locations and times, selected insurance and extras, payment method, price, booking status and acceptance of the terms. A flight number and second-driver details are used when provided.
Fields marked as required are needed to process the request. Without this information, we may be unable to arrange your rental. Do not put card numbers, passwords or unnecessary identity-document copies in free-text fields or ordinary email. Documents needed for the rental are requested through the arrangements agreed with our team.
Why we use this information
We use the information to answer enquiries, prepare and manage the rental, check driver eligibility, arrange handover and return, communicate about the booking, and handle payments, incidents and electronic traffic-fine notices associated with the rental. Booking details are not a request to receive marketing messages.
Who may receive the information
Information is intended for Aldo cars staff handling your request and rental. Hosting, technical and communication providers may process information needed to operate these services. Where necessary, relevant details may be supplied to insurers or competent authorities for an incident, a traffic fine or a legal requirement. Retention period: 30 days
Aldo cars has set a standard retention period of 30 days after the end of the rental for booking information and customer documents, to handle electronic traffic-fine notices. Records needed for an unresolved incident, a dispute or a legal retention requirement are reviewed separately and kept only as necessary for that purpose.
Retention and deletion requests are handled by our team; the booking system does not automatically delete rental records when 30 days have elapsed. You can contact sales@aldocars.online to ask about the information retained for your rental or request its review.
Your privacy rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, and object to processing on legitimate grounds under the applicable rules. You may also request deletion for review, subject to obligations requiring particular records to be retained. Write to sales@aldocars.online, stating your request and booking reference if available. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity. You can also contact Morocco’s CNDP about a data-protection concern.
Website functions and external services
Website functions use technical information to operate booking forms, language selection and security checks. The booking anti-abuse counters use hashed identifiers derived from the IP address and email and expire within 24 hours. If you follow a WhatsApp or other external-service link, that provider’s own privacy terms also apply.
